Questa e' veramente grossa!!!

Se su Ubuntu si passa in modalita' laptop viene risettato un parametro sull''HD che lo fa funzionare  piu' del dovuto: Ubuntu forza il sistema a fare un “load cycle” ogni minuto, ma cavolo!!!! 

Tenete d'occhio il vostro parametro di  Load_Cycle_Count con

 sudo smartctl -d ata -a /dev/sda | grep -i Load

 La soluzione proposta su slashdot e':

Make a file named "99-hdd-spin-fix.sh".
In the file write the following lines:
#!/bin/sh and hdparm -B 255 /dev/sda. Save the file to three locations, /etc/acpi/suspend.d/, /etc/acpi/resume.d/ and
/etc/acpi/start.d/.

O alternativa... non staccate mai la corrente!
